Grief and Bereavement Counseling
Grief and bereavement refer to the emotional and psychological responses to significant loss, as well as the ongoing process of mourning and adjustment. Both individuals and group counseling options are available to support those navigating this deeply personal journey.

In group settings, participants are welcomed into a safe, non-judgmental space where they can share their thoughts, emotions, and struggles following loss. The group experience helps normalize the intense impact of grief, supports individuals in navigating changes in identity, roles, and relationships, and encourages the discovery of both inner and outer resources. Participants also learn practical coping strategies and are guided in cultivating self-acceptance, self-care, self-compassion, and resilience. Together, we explore how to create new meaning and purpose in life after loss-while countering the isolation and shame that can arise in a culture that often avoids mourning.

Individual sessions offer a more private, personalized space to process grief, explore unique circumstances, and work at one's own pace. Whether in group or individual settings, this work honors the grieving process while supporting healing, connection, and transformation.
